Love It or Hate It

I’m having a love/hate relationship with this belted top. The colors and pattern of this fabric is what I gravitated towards. I really like the color combination with the green and pink intermixed together. I also love the silluette of the top. It’s flattering and I’ve love peplum style tops. This versatile top allows me to wear it all year long layering it up or just wearing it alone with a simple bottom.

Why do I hate it? It’s sort of ugly. Its pseudo camo pattern with splashes of pink in it is weird. The shape of the top makes me look boxy and not flattering at all. I struggle with this top. Why did I buy it?

This top was part of Banana Republic’s Fall 2015 line. I thought I needed it from the start. They used this fabric in a skirt, dress, bags, and this top. Strange fabrics overload! It was everywhere. I still don’t know why I bought it. Have you ever purchase something and regret it once you got home? We’ve all been there. The issue with this top is that I feel like keeping it. In my head I can imagine wearing it for a date night or a day event. It’ll go great with sleek black pants or jeans with heels. What are your thoughts? Should I keep it or let it go? ………..
